Dar-ul-Aman Mosque, meaning “House of Peace,” is the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community center serving the Greater New Orleans area from Kenner, Louisiana. The current center at 2113 38th Street was opened in 2013 after the Community’s previous local center was damaged and had to be demolished. Contemporary reporting states that the new two-story center was renovated into an approximately 8,000-square-foot mosque and community facility, and its formal dedication ceremony took place on November 16, 2013. The center was established to provide dedicated space for worship, religious education, meetings, and community activities for the local Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
