Bait-ul-Ahad Mosques – Cleveland

In 1986, a church building in Bedford, Ohio, was purchased by Dr. Syed Jaffer Ali under the full guidance of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (may Allah have mercy on him). Although the local Jamaat had been active since the early 1930s, there was neither a mosque nor a permanent missionary in the area until 1989. From 1986 to 1989, the acquired church—formerly known as the First Church of Christ, Scientist—was used for congregational activities. Upon its formal establishment as a mosque in 1989, it was lovingly named Bait-ul-Ahad by the beloved Khalifa. The mosque, which is officially registered in the city of Bedford, was funded through contributions from both local members and the central organization.
