As-Sadiq Mosque, located at 4448 S Wabash Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, is one of the most historically significant mosques of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA. The site traces its history to 1920, when Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Sadiq, the first Ahmadiyya missionary to the United States, established the Community’s first mission house in Chicago at this address. The location served as an early national headquarters for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in America and played an important role in the spread of the Community’s missionary and educational work in the country. A new mosque building was later constructed at the same site and was inaugurated on October 23, 1994 by Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih IV.Today, As-Sadiq Mosque continues to serve the Chicago Ahmadiyya community as a center for worship, religious education, community activities, charitable service and public outreach. The mosque remains at the historic Wabash Avenue location associated with the earliest organized Ahmadiyya mission in the United States.
